3rd WVPA Africa-ME Regional Meeting

Istanbul will be welcoming you to the 3rd WVPA Africa-ME Regional Meeting, hosted by the Turkish branch of WVPA.

The meeting will serve as a major forum for knowledge exchange across poultry production in Africa and the Middle East, showcasing scientific and technical advances in sustainable production.

Under the theme “Sustainable Poultry Production from East to West,” the program will focus on core issues affecting industry sustainability, including infectious disease control, gastrointestinal health, climate change, water scarcity, emerging diseases, and new technologies.

As a multidisciplinary event, it welcomes contributions from veterinary, management, environmental, economic, and technological fields. Researchers, academics, veterinarians, industry professionals, policymakers, and graduate students are encouraged to participate.

The meeting will feature more than ten keynote speakers, oral and poster presentations, and extensive networking opportunities.

It will take place 2–4 September 2026 at Swissôtel The Bosphorus, Istanbul, offering attendees access to world-class facilities and the city’s rich historical and cultural attractions.
