Poultry farming plays a significant role in many countries in the Middle east and Africa. the sector provides livelihoods for millions of people and is a primary source of protein for the population. the emergence of poultry diseases such as avian influenza, newcastle disease, and infectious bronchitis presents a major challenge to the industry and affects trade and food security in the region.
The implementation of robust surveillance and monitoring systems is critical to the successful management and control of emerging poultry diseases.
Early detection of outbreaks is crucial for preventing the spread of disease and implementing prompt responses.
