We’re thrilled to announce that Australia has won the bid to host the 25th World Veterinary Poultry Congress (WVPA) in Melbourne in 2029 – a landmark achievement for our national poultry health community.

This prestigious international forum will bring together leading minds in veterinary poultry science from across the globe, right here in our beautiful country. It’s a moment of pride for the Australian Veterinary Poultry Association (AVPA) and a testament to the strength, innovation and collaboration within our sector.

A heartfelt thank you to the Melbourne Convention Bureau for their outstanding support in securing this opportunity, and a huge shout out to Angela Scott and Robin Achari for all their work and dedication in securing the bid for Australia.
